jQuery JavaScript Framework 101
Tuesday, July 27, 2010 6:30 PM
The Cleveland Adobe User Group will meet July 27, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. at New Horizons in Garfield Heights for our July meetup. The topic for the evening is an introduction to the jQuery JavaScript Framework. Our presenter for the evening is Andrew Maurer, co-manager for the Cleveland Adobe User Group.
Andrew will give a basic introduction on incorporating the jQuery framework into your web development. His presentation will cover the basics of jQuery, what it is and how to write jQuery. We will take a look at creating a form in HTML and using jQuery to create so bells and whistles in the form.
Andrew is currently serving as a web developer at Dealer Tire. While he hails from California, he currently calls Cleveland home. In his current role, Andrew focuses his time on server-side programming in ColdFusion and client-side programming in CFML and JavaScript, working with both the YUI and jQuery Frameworks.
Please join us for an evening of jQuery 101, and afterwards, you can join us at the Winking Lizard in Independence for a social hour following the meeting.
